The room of light turning round

Suggestion of the interior.

The object dwelling unit is the 2F north side, a view and the southern aspect lighting are severe, but I make use of a condition that the corner room, and suggest it the wind goes along or light room.

I let light from the north comply with a curved surface ceiling, the space where it is filled with light and hard to be a shadow. Both the private room and the living face the window, and, the wind from three the east, the north, the west courses go through each room. A private room and the partitioning of the living are housing parts, A film of the gradation, transparency of it can increase toward the top, is completed in the glass of the door stile, light arrives in living along a ceiling side even if close a door. A plane changes from big efficiency to 2LDK by using the housing part. The light of a gentle curved surface ceiling wraps up the plane form of a room changing with the life softly…. I thought that became such a dwelling unit.

光 の 回 る 場 所

インテリアの提案．

対象住戸は２Ｆ北側であり眺望と南面採光は厳しいが，角部屋という条件を生かし明るく風の通る部屋を提案する．

北からの光を曲面天井に沿わせ，光に満ちた影の出来にくい空間とする．個室もリビングも窓に面し，東，北，西の３方向からの風が各部屋を通り抜ける．個室とリビングの間仕切りは建具で，框戸のガラスには上に向かって透明度が増すグラデーションのフイルムが貼られており，建具を閉じても光が天井面を伝ってリビングに届く．建具を使うことで大きなワンルームから２ＬＤＫまで平面が変化する．人生とともに変化する部屋の平面形式を，緩やかな曲面天井の光が，変わらず柔らかく包み込む･･･．そんな住戸になればと考えた．
