About me

I am a linguist who specializes in the syntax-discourse interface. In my research, I apply theories of discourse structure to explain diverse phenomena in relation with reference, underspecification, anaphora and discourse interpretation. In a more general sense, I am interested in the connection among natural language, cognition, and artificial intelligence.

Thus far I have worked on deixis, anaphora, discourse structure, reference, context, abstract objects, and quantification.
