Follow the procedures below to start setting up a Canon inkjet printer

- The first step in this process is to build a device, laptop or computer.
- Now open the web browser on your device, you can select any web browser such as Google Chrome, Internet Edge or Mozilla Firefox.
- Search the address bar in the browser on the top panel. Write "ij start cannon" in the Web search bar and click Enter.
- You will now be taken to the homepage of the website. On the home page, you will see tabs for different procedures. You need to click on the "Configure" icon.
- If you click on it, you will get a new window. Here you have to enter your model number. You can type the model number manually or use the click-to-select option available in the bottom panel of the same page.
- When you enter the model number and click Enter, the setting instructions for the specific model are displayed. Follow the steps shown on the screen.

Download Printer Drivers

- After performing all the necessary hardware installation procedures as explained in the ij scan program, it is now necessary to download the driver software.
- In the same window that guided you through the previous two steps, you should now select the second step, which is "Download drivers". Click on this link.
- Clicking this link will start the file download. You can view the progress of this download in the footer of your browser window.

Configure Your Printing Device

- After performing the hardware installation and downloading the printer driver software following the instructions in "ij.start.cannon", proceed to the next step, which is to configure the device section.
- To begin this process, you must first make sure that your printer is turned on. To do this, check that the green light on your device is on.
- After double clicking the downloaded software, the "User Control Wizard" will appear on the screen. Click the "Run" button here to run the software on the screen.
- Now you can see the "Welcome Window" of the printer driver software. Click Next ".
- Now you need to follow a step by step installation guide for your installation guide. Now follow this guide in the same way as in ij.start.cannon.
- A screen will appear on your computer asking you to choose between USB or wireless connection, select "Wireless Connection".
- In the next window that appears on the screen, click the "Connect to Network" icon.
- On the next screen, you will be asked to select the connection method you want to select. This method usually uses wired or wireless. Here you need to click on the "Cable Configuration" icon.
- When the "Connect via wireless setup" screen appears, press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer. Do this until the orange alarm light goes out 2 times, release the button immediately after the second flash.
- Make sure the blue Wi-Fi light is flashing quickly and click the "Next" button. In this process, the network connection is temporarily "disabled". Wait for the print device to connect.
- The next window on your device will now ask you to enter your geographic region. After selecting, click "Next".
- Therefore, on the next screen, you must select your city and then click "Next".
- The next window screen will show the "Software Installation List". Here you have to choose the Canon printer software you want to install. If at this point you don't know what software to install, install all available software, you can always remove the software you don't need. After selecting the software, click "Next".
- Now you will be redirected to the "Printer License Agreement Document". Please read this document carefully and click "Yes" if you agree with all the terms.
- As a result, an "Allow Setup Wizard Process" window will appear on the screen. Click the "Next" button again.
- The next window shows the printer model and the name (or SSID) of the wireless network. Click here to "Finish"
- Finally, you will now see your blue light stop blinking and the user settings are complete.
