Welcome to the PRAXIS II Math Content SiteThe UW System Institute for Innovation in Undergraduate Research and Learning (IIURL) has developed this site to share the results of the PRAXIS WI Project which created a collection of digital learning objects (LOs) designed to prepare educators for the middle level mathematics component of the PRAXIS II examination.
In this E-Study Guide you will find digital materials clustered into the following conent areas:
- Module I: Number Sense, Number Systems, and Number Theory
- Module II: Geometry and Measurement
- Module III: Probability and Statistics
- Module IV: Algebraic Concepts
- Module V: Problem Solving
You will also find additional materials at the sites listed in the Useful Links.
The project was supported by the UW System, Office of Academic Diversity and Development and a Closing the Achievement Gap Grant.
The materials in this site are introduced using Learning Objects (or LOs). To learn about the learning objects and how to use them, click here. This is recommended for new users (have your sound on when you click on the link, it is a 5 minute video).
