Today, Professor Banerji, Director IIT Roorkee, extended his personal invitation to all IIT Roorkee alumni to attend the North America Alumni Meet.
Dear IIT Roorkee Alumni,

Greetings!

I am excited about my upcoming visit to Chicago to attend the North America Alumni meet.

I would like to personally invite our alumni across North America to join our meet in Chicagoland where you would network with fellow alumni, connect and collaborate for future endeavors, and engage with alma mater.  We have great line up of speakers and panelists, and expect an exciting evening cultural program. I am also keen on meeting as many alumni as possible as I am interested in exploring opportunities for collaboration.

I recognize it is a Labor’s Day Weekend, let’s celebrate together in Chicago. I urge you to visit the https://sites.google.com/site/iitrreunion2012/home, arrange your priorities so that you can attend the program. If you have any questions that you would like me to address during my visit to Chicago, please send your questions to Dr. S. P. Gupta at (spgfee@gmail.com).  So we can address them effectively.

Let’s make the IITRAANA national event in Chicago a memorable well-attended event.

See you in Chicago!

Signed

Pradipta Banerji
Being a champion of strong alumni relationship, he is attending this event to meet "as many alumni as possible as I am interested in exploring opportunities for collabo ration".

He came to IIT Roorkee from IIT Bombay where one of his responsibilities was the Dean of Alumni Affairs and International Relations. IIT Bombay has a very strong "global" alumni network and he was instrumental in bringing it to fruition.

He brings a wealth of experience in building the foundation for a strong alumni community to a world class eco-system that will benefit students, faculty and alumni.
