Short Bio
Dr. Arjun Tyagi has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi since 2023. He has completed his B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering with Honours and M. Tech. degree in Power System with a Gold Medal and completed Ph. D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. After completing the PhD Degree, he served in a permanent position as Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (A State University of Govt. of J&K), Katra, J&K from 2018 to 2021. From 2021 to 2023 he served in a permanent position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Netaji Subhas University of Technology (Govt. of NCT of Delhi), New Delhi.
He has published around 60 research papers in leading international journals and presented his research work at many international conferences including in India and Overseas. He has gotten international travel grants from CSIR, DST and MHRD. His research interest includes smart electric power distribution system analysis, operation and optimization; Modelling, optimization and handling uncertainties in power systems; Distributed Sustainable Energy Resources; Smart Grid Operation; Electric vehicles; and Demand side management.
