1. What are the general rules of the library?

2. What are the library timings/working hours?
Monday--Saturday: 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
Mon-Saturday : 9:00-7:00 during exam month.
3. How to find e-books?
You can access subscribed e-books by using the following links :
Pearson Textbooks (link available on homepage. It requires registering first time. Check your Inbox for Pearson email) and
Tata McGraw hill Textbooks (accessible to Indira Students only)
on the homepage of this website.
Free general management text and reference books are available on the links:
a. Ebooks- Outlook Drive (It requires Indira email id login password)
b. Ebooks on Google Drive (free access to all)
4. Where should I mail my reference query?
You can e-mail to library@indiraiimp.edu.in OR
click on Ask a Query link on Homepage for reference query OR
you can fill the request form for reference query.
5. How do I access library databases?
You can visit Databases menu on Homepage.
6. How do I find books location in the library?
The Library central pillar has Location Map. You can click on Location Map to view the sections in Library. Online Public Access Catalogue OPAC is available to view library collection online. OPAC link available on Homepage.
7. How do I enroll for book bank scheme? What is book bank scheme?
Register/ Apply for book bank when it is open for application.(Generally in First Semester)
Students registered for Book Bank in First Semester get the benefit till their last semester.
A student may get a maximum of six books from the Book Bank at a time.
Syllabus recommended Textbooks will be issued at beginning of each semester.
Books will be issued for whole semester. A fine will be levied if book will not be returned within 5 days of the semester end exam, last paper.
Students will be responsible for any damage caused for the books. Students are advised to verify the physical condition of the books at time of its lending.
If a book is lost the student will be required to pay the current market price of the book.
Books will be issued on first come first served basis/ OR on Application. Please verify with the Librarian and apply.
8. How do I access e-Resources subscribed by the library? Do I need any separate login/password?
Most of the e-Resources subscribed by library are LAN access enabled so you can access them from anywhere within the campus (Institute IP range). They are also accessible by registering college email id (authenticated users), users can use the library resources.
9. How can I access the library online catalogue(OPAC)?
You can access the library online catalogue by using the following link: http://172.16.0.15/w27
10. I want to refer to Case Study collection?
A collection of Case study are available on the very first link Dr.Tarita Shankar recommended resources--HBS Case Study i.e. Harvard Business School Case Studies Collection. Secondly, you can search a particular case study in EBSCO database link on homepage OR N-LIST database link on homepage. Sign-in with college email id where necessary.
