To celebrate IIM Day, there will be a three hour discussion with students and faculty from the University of Minnesota health center schools (Nursing, MD, PH, and others) and Northwestern Health Science University (DC, acupuncture, massage, and PT). This event will include case discusions to improve collaboration and understanding of different care models.

This event is sponsored by the NJMS Cross-Cultural and Integrative Medicine Club (CCIM) and co-sponsored for the Healthcare Foundation for Humanism in Medicine and the Institute of Complimentary and Alternative Medicine at UMDNJ Newark. Students of all UMDNJ-Newark schools, as well as faculty and guests are welcome to attend as the CCIM club provides a variety of teas to taste and discusses their health benefits, while also hosting an informal round-table discussion on holistic medicine.
