New Directions in Knowledge Management
** All papers from the 2017 IFLA KM Satellite Conference are available online in the IFLA Library. ** Knowledge management (KM) is constantly evolving and now encompass many areas including business intelligence, analytics, and others not previously identified with KM. Selected papers will show a variety of ways that information agencies are using to incorporate some of the emerging concepts into their KM work. The new directions of KM include all important aspects of KM such as knowledge sharing. Part of the conference will be devoted to conversations exploring future trends in KM. This one-day Satellite Conference at the Wrocław University of Economics in Wrocław, Poland will focus on KM in all varieties of libraries and information centres with particular attention to new directions and the future of KM. With a global interest in mind, this Satellite Conference will aim to provide a thoughtful and engaging discussion about an array of worldwide issues regarding KM within library and information settings.
