Are you passionate about IDEAL-NM and online learning but having a hard time getting others on board with the concept? Have you ever been asked by other school staff or administrators at your school, “What is IDEAL-NM anyway?” or “Why online learning?” or even, “How is IDEAL-NM different from other online content providers?”  This session will provide participants with communication tips to assist you in selling IDEAL-NM in terms of the program’s concept and model, as well as the overall value and benefits to students, teachers, administrators, and parents.  Ideas for implementation beyond the virtual school (i.e. blended learning, staff development, content/resource sharing and virtual collaborative tools) will also be explored. This session is designed to be interactive and participants will leave with tools and resources that will assist them in advocating for the program.
