We covered a lot of ground:
Avatars such as Wimp Yourself
Creative Commons Image Searching using Compfight
Image Editing using iPiccy
Sounds (not so great had problems loading both Wolfram Tones and somewhat KissTunes)
QR Codes Scavenger Hunt and making QR Codes using QR Voice and Kaywa QR Code
Creating web pages with PageFin
Field Trip to College of Engineering Lab to see 3D Printer, CNC Lathe & MIll and their new Abrasive Waterjet machine. Each child received a Hawkeye made by the Abrasive Waterjet machine.
Stop Motion Animation Projects using Stop Frame Animator and JellyCam. JellyCam projects will be on the Library's You Tube Channel a few days after camp.
Adding sound to Stop Motion projects using Audacity
In hopes that children can continue to use the skills they have learned this week, all programs used are in Tech Camp either no-registration required websites or software available for free download. The one exception is Windows Movie Maker that some kids used to finish up their stop motion projects. JellyCam videos were converted for Windows Movie Maker using the free online converter, Zamzar.
