SoYoung Kim (김소영)

SoYoung Kim received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University in 1997, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering 

from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, in 1999 and 2004, respectively.

From 2004 to 2008, she worked for Intel Corporation, Santa Clara, CA, and from 2008 to 2009, she worked for Cadence Design Systems. 

She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Semiconductor Systems Engineering, College of Information and Communication Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University. 

Her research interests are EMC(electromagnetic compatibility) aware circuit, interconnect and package design, EMI issues in power electronic circuits, and compact modeling of novel semiconductor device structures. 

She is an author of 20 SCI journals and 100 conference papers. She is a IEEE senior member, and is working as IEEE Region 10 treasurer (2017-2018).
