I began my teaching career in Detroit at Munger Middle School in September, 2000 then transferred to Henry Ford High School in 2001 where I continue to work today.  I have taught all science disciplines except physics.  In addition to being a proud participant in the ICCARS project, I am 1 of 30 teachers across the country awarded a fellowship in the 2011 Frontiers in Physiology program sponsored by the American Physiological Society and most recently have been nominated to mentor in the Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship.  I love to learn and seek opportunities to enhance instruction with the goal of improving student achievement and preparing students for success in the 21st century.
