Systems and Knowledge (I-ASK)

I-ASK is  a non-profit research organization that promotes participatory scientific research, education and community outreach programs in agriculture and allied areas to achieve ecologically sustainable agriculture.


The efforts of I-ASK are currently focused in Karnataka state of India. The state is known for diverse agrarian systems in coastal, hilly and plain zones which includes central Western Ghats, one of the hotspots of biodiversity at the global level.




To conduct pro-farmer, environment friendly, sustainable  agricultural research, policy, education and outreach activities so as to achieve real prosperity in economic, social and cultural spheres leading to integrated development
