Research interests

I am interested in applying genomics to
・reveal evolutionary history of domestication
・characterize specific genes related to certain phenotypes
・build knowledge bases for genome breeding and genome editing

Current research themes include
analyzing genomes of agricultural useful insects (especially silkworm) for creating new breeds
・identifying molecular mechanism of pesticides and their resistance genes
