a few words about me....

First, thank you for considering me in your search for a flight instructor.

My education: I earned a BS in Aeronautical Studies w/Mgmnt from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach 1987

My teaching style: I teach like I learn, I have a goal and a plan for each lesson. I use a syllabus as a guide, so we both know what to be prepared for.

My flying experience:

I have been a pilot since 1983 and a flight instructor since 1998. I have worked as a flight instructor in the busy airspaces of Southern and Northern California first in Orange County and then in Palo Alto and South County Airport. As well as many years in Lincoln Park NJ, in the JFK,LGA, EWR area.

While instructing in  NJ I also flew for a company flying Cessna Caravans out of Teterboro, that took passengers to Nantucket during the summer and all year long and at night cargo from JFK to Canada and upstate NY. For a short time I worked for a company out of Rockland ME taking their passengers to various airports in the Northeast as well as tourists to Cat Island, Bahamas from Fort Lauderdale.

in 2012 - 2013 I was lucky to fly for a company out of Thermopolis Wyoming flying pipeline survey part-time and instructing.

in 2013 we moved back to Sarasota and its been a pleasure instructing in my hometown. I have had the pleasure of working for a local Marine Laboratory , as a pilot , while their scientists due research on coastline preservation and animal preservation. My day job is at Sarasota Avionics at the Venice office.

I feel fortunate to have always worked in a field I enjoy and consider it a privilege to help others learn to fly or keep their skills sharp
