Leadership:  Lessons from the Coyote is an outgrowth of observations made of numerous coyotes while backpacking and pack trips on horses in the west and southeast United States.  From these observations, we concluded that there were lessons to be learned about leadership from our ole furry and wily friend.  Furthermore, we concluded that these leadership attributes could apply in almost any type of leadership position and in many of the circumstances in which those in leadership positions find themselves.  In addition, our 35 leadership attributes of the ole coyote can also be studied by those who are aspiring to serve in positions of leadership.
