What is Hypertext?

It's a Non-sequentially- linked pieces of text or other information type.
Each "piece" of information is called a node.
Nodes are connected by computer-supported links to create an information network.
The hypertext pages are interconnected by hiperlinks, typically activated by a mouse click, keypress sequence or by touching the screen.  Links can be uni- or bi--directional. Apart from text, hypertext is sometimes used to describe tables, images and other presentational content forms with hyperlinks.
