Hello. Welcome to my website.

I am Dr. Hyoungmin Han, an economist specializing in international trade, economic security, and global value chains. My work focuses on providing strategic insights to government institutions, multinational corporations, and global research networks.

I serve as a Research Fellow at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), where I lead the Economic Security Team. In this role, I focus on global supply chains, energy policy, and trade and investment strategies. My expertise particularly extends to economic cooperation with major economies like India, the United States, China, and Japan.

I hold a Ph.D. in International Economics from the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID), Switzerland, and have gained experience working with organizations such as the International Labour Organization (ILO) and World Trade Organization (WTO). I graduated from Yonsei University in Seoul, Republic of Korea, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Economics.

Throughout my career, I have conducted extensive research on supply chain resilience, technology policy, and regional economic cooperation. My work has been recognized with multiple awards for its impact on policy and economic insights.

Currently, I am a member of the Advisory Committee on Strategic Reserves at the Public Procurement Service and the Advisory Committee on Export Controls division in the Trade Security Research Group of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy.
