Hyoseok Yoon (윤효석)
Hyoseok Yoon is an associate professor at School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence, Hanshin University. He is the director of HCI Lab. at Hanshin University (HS-HCI Lab.). He received PhD and MS from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Ubiquitous Virtual Reality Lab (UVR Lab.) under the supervision of Prof. Woontack Woo in 2012 and 2007 respectively. He received his BS in computer science from Soongsil University in 2005. Prior to joining Hanshin University in 2019, he was a senior researcher at Contents Convergence Research Center, Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI). He was a research associate at KAIST Culture Technology Research Institute and was a researcher at Culture Technology Institute (GIST CTI) from 2012 to 2013. He was an intern researcher for Dr. Yu Zheng of Web Search & Mining Group in Microsoft Research Asia in 2009. His research interests include mobile computing, ubiquitous computing, pervasive contextual intelligence, augmented reality, and HCI.
