Check hydronic boiler system configuration for proper orientation and operation.
Flue vent piping inspection.
Combustion air piping inspection.
Bird or vent screens or vent termination inspection .
Proper operation of relief valve's.
Boiler heat exchanger condensate drain trap inspection.
Condensate drain and condensate neutralizer media.
Check Boiler water and gas piping for leaks.
Ignition and flame sensor electrodes.
Flame and flame signal.
Check boiler burner and blower wheel.
Review system control setting.
Check expansion tank pressure.
Check system fluid pressure & Automatic boiler fill valve pressure setting.
Glycol/Antifreeze solution freezing point temperature testing.
Check pressure, temperature gauges and thermistors temperature sensor placement and attachment.
Boiler combustion analysis. Altitude affects combustion and emission's, so preforming a combustion analysis and adjusting the gas train or combustion air mixture will provide for a more efficient and cleaner burning boiler e.g. less Carbon Dioxide and Carbon monoxide percentage's. Propane burning appliances usually need conversions kits installed and require gas valve and combustion air adjustments especially at altitude. In some instances when the fuel/air ratios are optimized there can be additional energy saving's of 5->25%. World wide carbon monoxide levels in the atmosphere are at a all time high compared to the beginning of the 19th century.
