Radiant Panel-Aluminum Transfer Plate Floor-Ceiling-Wall

In some circumstances a floor underlayment or concrete thin slab radiant floor application might not be as desirable due to the floor system not being able to support the dead loading of the slab, or the slab material not readily available which could make it less cost effective over other installation methods. One alternative is a tube and plate radiant panel system. The tube and plate system use's preformed extruded aluminum heat transfer plate's to conduct heat laterally away from the tubing. The radiant panel tube and plate system can be assembled in different types of assemblies depending on the application, above the sub floor, on the wall, or on the ceiling. These assemblies are more preferable from an efficiency standpoint if designed and installed properly.  Another instillation method is the under the sub floor tube and plate system but is not as desirable when it comes to performance and efficiency, but work better then a staple up/Joist heating system. A tube and plate floor, ceiling, or wall radiant panel system can offer similar efficiency's as a concrete slab radiant system. The radiant tube and plate panel installation is less economical then a radiant concrete slab, gypsum floor underlayment, or concrete thin slab system and is more economical then most modular prefabricated type's of aluminum panel assemblies. Tube and plate radiant panel ceiling's can be used for cooling applications as well. Combining a tube and plate or concrete slab radiant floor with a tube and plate ceiling for both heating and cooling would be a superb combination. Radiant ceiling's or wall's are alternative's to a radiant floor system and can be used when a radiant floor is not a viable installation method, retrofit applications, or overall could be a more economical instillation method. Radiant ceiling's can also be utilized for providing supplementary heat in situations where a radiant floor system cannot satisfy a room's heat loss under design condition. Aluminum tube and plate radiant ceiling's and floor system's offer quicker response time's then concrete and floor underlayment radiant panel system's. These aluminum plates can also be used to make Low temperature panel radiator's for custom or retrofit applications for renovating to a low temperature hydronic heating system.
