Panel Radiators

Panel radiators are similar to fin tube baseboard heaters in that they heat by way of convection but also Thermal Radiation depending on the particular type. Panel radiators are available in an abundance of styles, sizes, shapes, colors and heating output capacities. Panel radiators that heat with thermal radiation are preferred for low supply water temperature high efficiency applications.  Some other types of panel radiators are designed around a higher percentage of convection heat output. The higher output convection radiators run at higher water temperatures on average.  A Panel Radiator heating systems can be designed around using a lower water supply temperature on average 80-140F when designed properly.
