Fan Convection Radiators

Fan-coils rely on forced convection by means of some type of fan. Fan forced convection is much more efficient at transferring heat then natural convection. A fan coil unit can provide equivalent heating capacity using only a fraction of the space required by Fin-Tube baseboard system. They respond quickly to a heating demand and are well suited for places that need to be heated quickly, or spaces that are only heated occasionally.  Fan coils are available in many different types's wall mounted, free standing, under cabinet, ceiling, overhead and recessed floor mounted. Most fan coil-convector heaters are designed around using higher water supply temperatures 180-200F. Some disadvantages are noise, dust air born particulate movement and require connection to a power source/line voltage.
