The Prince valve model RD-1800 is a direct acting ball/spring type pressure relief. The valve is compact and simple in design. This type relief is fast opening and is well suited for pressure spike protection. The performance curves below indicate the low cracking pressure typical to ball/spring reliefs. Please refer to the model RV relief for a system pressure relief. The valve is available with a standard steel seat, model RD-1800S, or with a hardened seat, model RD-1800H. Both models are externally adjustable.

Half of the pressure relief valve inside the Challenge Hydraulic Cutter "Power Pack". This will flat stop you cold when it breaks. The service vendor estimated the repair at $3,000 dollars, or maybe a new cutter. But I'm not afraid to try new things, like hydraulic motor repair.

The Pitsco Laser-Cut Basswood T-Bot II Hydraulic Arm kit provides students in grades 6-12 a hands-on activity to build a hydraulic robot that demonstrates the scientific concepts of axes and levers, force, and Newton's laws of motion, and it includes basswood parts required to build the robot and syringes and tubing for implementing four hydraulic controls. It includes laser-cut basswood parts, syringes, wood dowels, screws, O-rings, nylon spacers, a plastic straw, clear plastic tubing, hook-and-loop fastener, a rubber band, a resealable plastic bag, and instructions. The T-Bot II illustrates how axes and levers work for students studying simple machines, and it demonstrates hydraulic power and simple robotics for students studying mechanical concepts. The kit reinforces engineering, technology, and math concepts as students build and test a hydraulic robot. The finished T-Bot II measures 12 inches at its tallest point. A hydraulic robot is typically used in an educational setting to demonstrate mechanics, robotics, and physics.
Construction requires a screwdriver, scissors, glue gun and glue slugs, and white glue (all sold separately). The T-Bot II can be mounted on the 34106 T-Bot II Base (sold separately).
