Hutchinson Road Users Association Home Page

Welcome to the HRUA web site.  This site lists upcoming announcements for the HRUA as well as past meeting minutes and financial reports.  The HRUA is entirely volunteer run and seeks to guide the county to make effiecient use of our CSA-13 tax dollars.  County Service Agency 13 is funded by a $500 property tax assestment on approximately 180 parcels. That money goes for road maintenance and improvements.  The HRUA advises the county on work that needs to be done and any changes that need to be made on the road.  The county controls all the spending of the CSA-13 tax dollars and county engineers determine if the road is safe or not.

Dave@HutchinsonRoad.org maintains the HRUA mailing list  We only use the list a few times a year and your personal information will never be shared with anyone outside of the HRUA. We use MailChimp to manage the list.  You can add or change your membership with the MailChimp online form.  You can remove yourself by using the unsubscribe button at the bottom of all the HRUA emails.

See the archive of HRUA messages sent after Jan 7, 2017.

The road is funded by neighbors and simple maintenance is done by neighbors.  During heavy storms, please keep a shovel in your trunk and scrape a culvert clean if you see one backed up.  It only takes a scrape or two with a flat blade shovel to get the culvert running freely.  Please don't wait for someone else to notice.

Our most important maintenance item is to keep the water flowing off the road and down  the existing drainages.  A blocked culvert can quickly lead to a deluge that undermines the road.

In the meantime, drive slow, and keep to the right!
