The Hunterdon Watercolor Society is an organization of watercolor artists in the Hunterdon County, New Jersey area.  Watercolor artists of all proficiency levels, from beginner through advanced, are welcome.  Many of our artists are also accomplished in other mediums.

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month from September through May at the Flemington Presbyterian Church, 10 East Main Street, Flemington, NJ.  The building opens at 6:30 p.m. for set-up and socializing.  The meeting begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. and runs until 9:00 p.m.  Demonstrations by visiting watercolor artists are given at most meetings.

Find out more about us in the History of the HWS.

HWS holds one juried show and one non-juried show for members each year and offers several rotating show opportunities in participating local venues.  Other activities – including workshops, informal paint-ins and plein aire events – are held periodically throughout the year.

Check our calendar for details about our next meeting. For more information about membership, go to the Join Hunterdon Watercolor page.See our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/hunterdonwatercolorsocietyHWS) for additional information.
