Parmesan Orzo by THE HUNGRY HOUSEWIFE
3 Tbsp butter
8 oz Orzo
1 Clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups chicken stock
1/2 cup White Wine
1/2 cups Parmesan-Reggiano Cheese
2 Tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
Salt and Pepper
Melt butter in a pot with a lid over medium heat.
Add orzo and cook until some of the pieces turn golden brown.
Add garlic and cook for an additional one minute.
Add chicken stock and wine, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
