Marvin Croy

Marvin Croy
 is a Professor of Philosophy at UNC Charlotte and the interim Chair of the department.  He is the Vice-President of the International Association for Computing and Philosophy, and the past Chair of the Committee on Philosophy and Computers for the American Philosophical Association.  He has over 25 years of research and teaching experience, and has developed software and web based materials for both deductive proof construction and the teaching of cognitive science.  His current research involves data mining techniques for adaptive learning technologies, as well as using CAS modeling for gaining insights into student learning.  (Homepage)
