ROBOTICS CAPSTONE
Cakmak is teaching the CSE 481C: Robotics Capstone in the Fall quarter of 2013. The class aims to teach students basics of robotics and give them experience with ROS and the PR2 platform. Here is the webpage.

ROSIE2 HAS ARRIVED
Our bubblegum colored PR2 has arrived. We named it Rosie2 (after its parent PR1 model Rosie from the Salisbury lab; also partly because it is rose(ish)-colored). Here is a snapshot from the unpacking ceremony.

OUR BRR HAS ARRIVED
We recently acquired a Baxter Research Robot (shared with Dieter Fox) to work on language grounding and human-robot interaction in manipulation tasks. Excited to test the suction cup gripper!
