The architecture of the mind
The concept of modularity is central in cognitive psychology. It is now being overhauled by new ideas imported from biology. Building on work by Dan Sperber and Clark Barrett, I'm trying to put to use notions drawn from biology (such as evolvability, robustness, bow tie architecture) in order to develop a more plausible notion of modularity. This is very much a work in progress, I hope to be able to put my ideas into a paper soon.
