Since 2017 I am a professor at the Department of Production Engineering of Universidade Federal da Paraíba

I spent a year (March/2016 - January/2017) in a Post Doc position at the Computer Sciences Department of Universidade Federal da Bahia working under the supervision of Prof. Rafael Augusto de Melo on Integer Programming based heuristics applied to Lot-sizing Problems.

I have a PhD degree in Production Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense, Brazil, under the supervision of Prof. Eduardo Uchoa and co-advised by Prof. François Vanderbeck (Université Bordeaux 1, Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux), supported by CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior) and CNPq (Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico).

During a year (April/2013 - April/2014) I was a PhD intern (sandwich under Science without Borders Program) at Realopt Team/Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux, Université Bordeaux 1, under the supervision of Prof. François Vanderbeck, supported by CNPq.
