E.4.2) 9-3 Viggen

Introduction

At its launch the 9-3 Viggen (Swedish for 'Thunderbolt') was the most powerful car SAAB had ever produced. 500 cars were produced for the UK market. As standard it has upgraded clutch, larger intercooler, driveshafts and CV units. The engine benefits from a huuuge turbo and an advanced engine management system that ensures maximum torque is available from relatively low rpms.
