Hucknall Local History Group volunteers provide regular family history surgery sessions at Hucknall Library. The sessions are usually held on the 1st Saturday of the month from 10am until 12:00 and provide help and encouragement to family history researchers from, beginners who want to know where to start to old hands who need some ideas on how to find that elusive missing person.
PLEASE NOTE: this service is provided free by local volunteers, at busy times you may have to wait and in order to help as many people as possible, volunteers may have to limit the time they spend with you.
The service is intended to help you get the most out of YOUR research, our volunteers do not carry out the research on your behalf, they will however help you get started and show you how to carry out further research yourself and they are always willing to help point you in the right direction if you need further help or get stuck on any particular problem in the future.
If you want to know more then please come along to one of our free sessions or use our Contact Us page.
