You can reach from HERE the guidelines on how to prepare your integrated training report, report cover page and important points about how to fill in EK-3 and Ek-4 forms . You should follow the instructions given in this document!!!

IHAMER Internship
You can reach from HERE the list of students who will do their internship at IHAMER. These students should submit their documents until 01 June 2018 Friday. If these students will not do their internship at IHAMER for some reason, they should inform Lec. Ece GURSOY by e-mail immediately.

THK Teknik Internship
Some students who were selected for THK Teknik internship will do their internship in some other companies. In their places, new students have been selected from the application list according to their CGPAs. These students should submit their internship/insurance documents until 30 May 2018. In addition, they should submit to THK Teknik a criminal record check (adli sicil kaydı).
The list of students is given HERE. If these students will not do their internship at THK Teknik, they should inform Lec. Ece GURSOY by e-mail immediately so that new students can be selected from the list.

Apron Giriş Kartı (Apron Entrance Card)

Havaalanı veya havayolu işletmelerinde staj yapacak ve APRON GİRİŞ KARTINA ihtiyacı olan öğrencilerin gerekli işlemlerin yapılabilmesi için en geç 29 Mayıs 2018’e kadar Fakülte Sekreterimiz Sn. Fatma Özbek’e isim yazdırmaları gerekmektedir. (The students who will do their internship at airports or airline companies and who need APRON ENTRANCE CARD should see our faculty secretary Ms. Fatma ÖZBEK and have their names added to the list until 29 May 2018.)

Working on Saturdays or Sundays during Internship
If you will work on Saturday or Sunday during you internship, the company should confirm this!! The company can confirm this by doing one of the two:

Either

1.  The company will give you at the end of your internship, a document which says : "[WRITE YOUR NAME....] adlı öğrenciniz kurumumuzda [WRITE INTERNSHIP START DATE] - [WRITE INTERNSHIP END DATE] tarihleri arasında Cumartesi (veya Pazar-->if you worked on sunday)  çalışarak stajını 20 iş günü olarak tamamlamıştır."

The authorized company personnel name &last name, signature, company stamp, date should be present in the document!!!

or

2. The company will write the above statement (above note) on Ek-3 and below or next to this note they shold write the authorized company personnel name & last name, signature, company stamp, date. (IN ADDITION to the name and signatures that are ALREADY included in Ek-3!!!!! Be careful!!!)

Also, even if your name is not in the list, you can join one of these 2 groups with the documents given in the link because these 2 groups are the last groups.

IHAMER INTERSHIP OPPORTUNITY
There is an internship opportunity in IHAMER of our university for AEE/AST 300 and AEE /AST 350 internships.
  1. For June intenship only Aeronautical Engineering students can apply (AEE300 or AEE350). And you should apply until 18 May 2018 (tomorrow) 17:00 by writing your name and whether you will go to summer school or not in the list which is the faculty secretary's office. 
  2. For July and August internships, the applications will be made until 24 May 2018 17:00 and both aeronautical and astronautical engineering students can apply.

THK Teknik Internship
The THK Teknik  quota is 14 students from aeronautical, 7 students from astronautical engineering. Aeronautical and astronautical students who wrote their names on the list (who applied for THK Teknik) were sorted according to their CGPAs within their own department (aeronautical students and astronautical students were sorted separately, not altogether). This means that the top 14 students from aeronautical and top 7 students from astronautical engineering were selected for THK Teknik among the applicants. In addition,one person previously and separately applied specifically for THK Teknik İzmir, which is not included in this application process although his name is also given in this list.

THK Teknik Internship
The list of students who will do their AEE/AST 250 internship at THK Teknik are announced HERE.
We had announced before the necessary documents. You should bring them as soon as possible (Those who will do their internship in June should bring the documents until 16 May 2018, others: 25 May 2018)!!
In addition to the documents we announced, for THK Teknik, you should bring one more photocopy of your ID (TC students) or passport (international students) and 1 portrait photo (vesikalık fotoğraf).

In case of any questions, send email to Lec. ECE GÜRSOY (Aeronautical students) or Lec. ALİ UĞUR SAZAKLIOĞLU (Astronautical students).

IMPORTANT!!! DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR INSURANCE and INTEGRATED TRAINING OPERATIONS (UPDATED)

A new document (form) is added to the list of required documents for insurance/integrated training operations!!  “STAJ ÜCRETLERİNE İŞSİZLİK FONU KATKISI BİLGİ FORMU (Payment Document). You should fill in this form (whether you are paid or not during the integrated training), this form should be approved by the company and then you should submit this document with all other listed documents!!! Details are given in the updated instructions HERE. Please read carefully.

(Teslim edilecek staj belgeleri listesine yeni bir belge (form) eklendi: STAJ ÜCRETLERİNE İŞSİZLİK FONU KATKISI BİLGİ FORMU”. Stajda ücret alsanız da almasanız da bu formu doldurmalı, firmaya onaylatmalı ve bu formu da diğer tüm belgelerle birlikte teslim etmelisiniz. THK Teknik Internship Opportunity-2
As for the below announcement (THK Teknik internship), even if you ALREADY applied to THK Teknik for your internship for this summer, YOU SHOULD APPLY AGAIN by seeing the faculty secretary Ms.Fatma ÖZBEK and having your name added to the list!!!!

THK Teknik Internship Opportunity
There might be an internship opportunity for second year internship (AEE250 /AST 250 or AEE200/AST200) at THK Teknik. Those who could not find an internship place yet and who want to do their AEE250/AST250 internship at THK Teknik should see our faculty secretary Ms. Fatma ÖZBEK and have their names added to the list  immediately (until 04 May 2018 Friday.) We will select the students according to their CGPA. The number of interns (quota of THK Teknik) is not certain yet.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR INSURANCE and INTEGRATED TRAINING OPERATIONS

  • You can reach the INSTRUCTIONS for insurance/integrated training operations and LIST OF DOCUMENTS required for insurance/ integrated training operations from HERE.
  • Read this document carefully and follow all of the instructions given in the document! 
  • The documents listed here are required for your integrated training procedures/operations including insurance. Therefore, for these operations to be done, first, the company that you will do your integrated training and the beginning and end dates of your integrated training should be determined (settled). (Bu dokümanların teslimi ve staj işlemlerinin yapılabilmesi için staj yapılacak firma ve staj başlangıç/bitiş tarihleri kesinleşmiş olmalıdır.) 
  • You should deliver these documents to the faculty secretary Ms. Fatma ÖZBEK until:
    • 11 May 2018 Friday if you will do your integrated training in June, 
    • 25 May 2018 Friday if you will do your integrated training July, August,September.
IMPORTANT: If you will be paid during your integrated training, you should deliver your payment document (ücret belgesi) and payment receipt (dekont) to the faculty secretary Ms. Fatma Özbek when you finish your integrated training. So you should keep these documents!!! (Stajınızda ücret aldıysanız, ücret belgesi ve dekontunuzu saklayınız ve staj sonunda bu belgeleri fakülte sekreterliğine (Sn. Fatma Özbek’e) teslim ediniz.

AEE 250/ AST 250 Internship Applications (My Technic)
Applications to My Technic for AEE 250/AST 250 (maintenance/repair internship [Bakım Onarım Stajı]) can be made until about the middle of April (no certain date given, so do not be late).

The application is made by e-mail by the student individually (öğrenci kendisi e-mail ile başvuracaktır). You should send the e-mail to hr.exe@mytechnic.aero

 In your e-mail

1. You should include your CV.

2. You may write in your e-mail that your internship is a compulsory internship for you (Zorunlu Staj) and that THK University will pay your insurance during your internship.

3. You may write in your e-mail that you have an opportunity to take “Güvenlik Bilinci Eğitimi” here at THK University. (“Güvenlik Bilinci Eğitimi (safety awareness training)” is a 1-day training that you should take before your maintenance internship in the airport. Our univerity is planning to give this training).

 It is stated that the results will be announced in May.

AEE 250/ AST 250 Internship Applications (MNG Teknik) 

Applications to MNG Teknik (MNG Airlines) for AEE 250/AST 250 (maintenance/repair internship [Bakım Onarım Stajı]) can be made until 30 March 2018 Friday.

The application is made by e-mail by the student individually (öğrenci kendisi e-mail ile başvuracaktır). You should send the e-mail to hr@mngairlines.com

In your e-mail:

1. You should include your CV.
2. You should write in your e-mail that your internship is a compulsory internship for you (Zorunlu Staj) and that THK University will pay your insurance during your internship. 
3. You should write in your e-mail that you have an opportunity to take “Güvenlik Bilinci Eğitimi” here at THK University. (“Güvenlik Bilinci Eğitimi (safety awareness training)” is a 1-day training that you should take before your maintenance internship in the airport. Our university is planning to give this training).

After the applications, MNG airlines will make an exam for the selection of the interns.

  • You can reach the presentation made at the Internship Meeting which took place on 2 March 2018 Friday from HERE.
  • You can reach the list of companies in which the students did their internships in the previous years from HERE. Please keep in mind that these are not the only companies where you can do your summer practice. This list is only to help you and give you an idea.
  • Please remember that not all companies are acceptable for the internship. Furthermore, one company may be suitable for  2nd year intership but not for 3rd year internship or vice versa. So, during the application process, please read the internship meeting presentation whose link is given above, read the rules and regulations. You can contact the internship coordinators if you have any doubts or questions.
  • The internship coordinators are: Ece GÜRSOY (aero), Ali Uğur SAZAKLIOĞLU (astro).

INTERNSHIP MEETING

There will be an INTERNSHIP MEETING on 2 March 2018, Friday.

·         The meeting will take place in Hayati Yazıcı Building, Conference Hall as 2 sessions: 12:30-13:30 and 14:30-15:30.

·         The two sessions are the same, you need to attend only one of them, whichever you like.

·         In this meeting, the Faculty Internship Commitee will inform you about internship application process as well as internship process in general and will also try to answer your questions. As this time of the year is the time for applying for the internships, attending this meeting is of great importance and is strongly recommended. 

·         The Heads of Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering Departments are planning to attend this meeting.
