The book group meets at Clapton Library on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 14:00 until 16:00. Conversation about our chosen book for the month is generally followed by tea and biscuits about 15:30.
Attendance for this group is currently around six to ten people each session. New members are always welcome. Contact the coordinator to be added to our emailing list and to find out the current book.
Every so often, the coordinator compiles a list of titles suggested by group members from Hackney Libraries' special book club stock of fiction. Clapton Library then provide one of these each month as requested if available. We pick up our books from the desk at Clapton Library and must return them there after the relevant meeting. This means you must have a Hackney Libraries membership card.
Please see below for a list of the books we have read in 2016.
