It’s easy to join.  Annual membership costs £14.00 (but see breakdown and reductions below) for which members gain access to all Hackney U3A activities and receive copies of the national U3A newsletter. For a reduction see below..  Who can join Hackney U3A?  Anyone, of any age, interested in ‘lifelong learning’ and available during the daytime, is very welcome to join.

You may wish to attend a Monthly Meeting to discuss becoming a member.
On receipt of your Membership Fee, you will receive your membership card and further information.   

If you prefer to send in an application on paper, please download and complete the Membership Application form attached below and send to;

Bring the form to a Monthly Meeting at Homerton Library at 10:30 on 3rd Tuesday of any month (except August and September). 
and, in due course, you will be sent a membership card.
Fee breakdown - the membership fee is made up of two elements:
£9.00 to pay for the administration and some meeting costs of Hackney U3A.
£5.00 paid to the Third Age Trust for; U3A News magazine, public liability insurance and U3A Trust support services.
It is possible to reduce the Trust element to £3 (making the annual fee £12) if you do NOT wish to receive the U3A News magazine..
Further, members who share an address can save the £2.00 if they choose to receive one copy of U3A News.
Wherever possible, attendance to all learning groups and other activities will be free of further charge.
