Health, Technology & Trades Career Fair

Free admission for students.  Schools are responsible for transportation and supervision. 

Region VI Transition Team hosts this event every other year to promote career exploration for students grades 9-12 who are and planning to attend two years or less of post secondary training/education.  Vendors include two-year colleges, skilled training centers, agencies who support career development, and businesses that employee positions requiring two years or less of post secondary training/education.  

In 2016, approximately 1000 students (grades 9-12) representing 25 area schools attended this event.  Forty vendors participated by sponsoring a “hands on” booth-students interact with a skill related to the career the vendor represents.

In addition to the hands-on vendor booths, all students will get the pleasure of hearing Brooks Harper speak at this event.  For more on Brooks Harper's message, see

The Region VI Interagency Transition Team consists of Directors of Special Education Units, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, School Counselors, Anne Carlsen Center, Area Career & Technology Centers, Job Service.

Announcements for VENDORS:  

*All vendors are now able to register online through the registration tab above.

*Recommended $50 fee per 8' table per vendor with a maximum fee of $200.  (2 tables=$100, 3 tables=$150, 4 tables and up=$200).  

Recommended $75 fee for vendors with large equipment/vehicles (table included).
