Congratulations to A.J. “Juice” Trobek from the Hubbard Traveling Soccer Club’s U14 Boys team. He has been selected for the 2014 Olympic Development Program state team after three rounds of cuts.
A.J. has been playing and training for HTSC. He also both plays and trains with Soccer Vision Academy under Coach Anthony James.
The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program was formed in 1977 to identify a pool of players in each age group from which a National Team will be selected for international competition; to provide high-level training to benefit and enhance the development of players at all levels; and, through the use of carefully selected and licensed coaches, develop a mechanism for the exchange of ideas and curriculum to improve all levels of coaching.
A.J. will get his first taste of international play with the ODP state team this July as they take on teams from Canada, Columbia, and Kenya at the Continental Cup in Cleveland prior to heading to Illinois to train. Good Luck this summer A.J.
