STEM PROJECT: Making a Logo

Listens

First, I listened to what my teacher wanted for the logo. He wanted the logo to have the colors red, blue, and white; this is because those colors are in the logo for Harmony Public Schools.

Thinks

I thought about what Harmony is all about, so that I can make a meaningful logo. Harmony School of Science- High focuses on mathematics, science, and technology, so it will be a good idea to have some pictures or representation about those subjects in the logo.

Interprets

I review the notes that I have and start to draw my logo.

Connects

I connected things that are normally not connected, so the logo can be more noticeable to people.

Simplifies

Making things simpler was the next step in the process.

Bridges

I then make the logo look appealing to the eye.

Makes Memorable

Last, but not least, I make the logo unique so that it would be memorable to others that see it.

This is my final logo.

I used Adobe Illustrator CS4 to make my logo. I have been working with this program in my Desktop Publishing class. My teacher teaches us how to use the tools and shortcuts.
