Listen: I listened to my teacher and was told to use the school colors: red, blue, and white. I also used one additional color: brown.
Think: I thought about what my school represents and decided to use my school's mascot: the mustang.
Interpret: I tried to use my school's logo and mix it in with the mustangs.
Connect: I then tried to make my logo look like it represent's my school(HSSHIGH).
Simplify: I then simplified my logo so that my logo would look simple and easy.
Bridge: I then started to make the logo look perfect.
Memorable: I then mixed in all the colors to finish it and make it look memorable.
Project:
Finally, I added the other 2 red bars, the 2 horses, and the blue bar with the text in it and put them all together.
I then used the Text Tool and wrote Harmony Public Schools in a white color, font size 48, and made it a Gabriola Font type. I then placed it on the blue bar.
I then copied the horse and pasted it on the same page except the 2nd horse is facing the other direction. The 2nd horse is the same color as the 1st horse (Light Brown Radial).
I then put the 3 bars aside and took a picture off the Internet and traced a picture of a horse using the Pen tool. I made the horses color Light Brown Radial.
Then I made a third bar, again using the rounded rectangle tool, but this time I made it a little bigger than the other 2 and colored it Blue Radial.
To start of, I first made 2 bars using the rounded rectangle tool and colored them both with Red Radial.
I used Adobe Illustrator CS4 to create my logo.
