First, I listened to what my mentor wanted my logo to look like. He wanted it to show Harmony’s colors; red, white, and blue. He also wanted it to represent HSS-High by showing what our school is mainly about; math and science.

Thinks

Then, I thought about HSS-High. What represents this school? HSS-High is mainly focused on math and science.

Interprets

Next, I interpreted the notes I had. This logo needed to have the three Harmony colors (red, white, and blue) and show that our school's focuses (math and science).

Connects

Then, I connected the Harmony colors and the elements (math and science) all together.

Simplifies

After connecting everything together, I simplified the logo. I made the logo look less complex and more simpler.

Bridges

Next, I made the logo look appealing.

Makes Memorable

Finally, I turned the logo into something extravagant, something others would find it to be memorable.

STEPS TO MAKING THE LOGO

Step 1: Using the Rounded rectangle tool, I drew a medium sized rectangle

Step 2:Then, using the Rectangle tool, I drew a long rectangle to make the stripe in the middle.

Step 3: Then, using the ellipse tool and pen tool, I drew the Earth.

Step 4: Next, I used the ellipse tool to make the top, and the line/pen tool to make the tube part. I then colored it in using the paint tool and made the bubbles with the paint tool.

Step 5: Next, I used the line tool to make the lines along the ruler, made by the Rectangle tool. I then used the paint tool to color it yellow.

Step 6: Next, I used to Rounded Rectangle tool to make the buttons, calculator screen, and the calculator base. I then put it all together and made them black and grey.

Step 7: I then made the land green, and color the circle blue to show the colors of the Earth.

Step 9: I then made the Rounded rectangle red to show the red in Harmony.

Step 10: Next, I made the stripe in the middle blue to show the blue in Harmony.

Step 11: I then used the Type tool to make the text HSS-HIGH. I then changed the font to a nice, professional look and made it bold.

Step 12: I then used the Type tool to type the school name and the school statement to place at the bottom.
