Applications for the Holly Springs Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee Scholarship are available in Student Services.  Deadline to complete and return application and 2 letters of recommendation to Mr. Ellington is April 18th.

The Girl Up Club will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, March 17th during Lunch A in Room, 2726.  All are welcome to attend!

 Registration for Holly Springs’ 3/31/20 Career and College Promise information session opened on the Wake Tech site on Monday morning 3/9/20 around 8:00am.  An information session is mandatory for students interested in pursuing CCP classes for next school year. Students/parents must register online in order to attend.

Are you interested in a possible career in the US Armed Forces? Are the Military Academies a goal? Come hear about academy life and ask questions of West Point senior Margaret Redfield today at lunch in the Media Center.

Today is the last day to check the Lost and Found in the main office for jackets, water bottles, glasses, gym bags, lunch boxes, etc.  All items not picked up will be donated to a local charity.

High school students in North Carolina can get a head start on college – for free!  They can take college courses and earn college credits while still in high school!  Career and College Promise, or CCP, allows eligible high school students to take college courses at Wake Tech. It is sometimes referred to as dual enrollment.  Most courses also carry high school credit at a full point extra weight at each grade (A=5.0, B=4.0, etc.).  Next information session at HSHS is March 31st from 6:00-8:00.  Interested students/parents should register at the Wake Tech site.  Session will be posted 1 to 2 weeks prior to the event date, but other sites are already listed.  Parties should arrive early to sign in.  For more information or to register for a mandatory information session, visit: https://www.waketech.edu/admissions-aid/career-and-college-promise
