Hello everyone, I am Hasan Shahid Ferdous.

I am a PhD student at the University of Melbourne, Australia and on study leave as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of CSE, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). I have completed my Master of IT (Research) degree from from Monash University, Australia. I have graduated from the Dept. of CSE, BUET  in the year 2008.

My current research interest is on Human Technology Interaction (HTI) specially focusing on Social Natural User Interface (SNUI). I have led the HTI research group in the Dept. of CSE, BUET along with other faculty members and our students. Now I am a part of the Microsoft Centre for SNUI and Interaction Design Lab (IDL) at the Department of Computing and Information Systems of the University of Melbourne.

I am a friendly person; want to see life with an easy and enjoyable look. I like to keep my life simple and successful. Somehow, challenges find a way into my life! But, usually I can win them :)
