Henry Student Center Reservation Guidelines
in the Henry Student Center is available on a first-come, first-served basis for
Wilkes University Clubs and organizations, and can be reserved through
Outlook. Rooms tend to fill up quickly-please plan in advance to
secure your location.

Student Development will gladly accept room reservations for the student center. However, specific room set ups are to be requested to firstname.lastname@example.org at least two weeks in advance. In this e-mail, please include the amount of people expected, the type of event, and the specific set up requested (i.e. dinner/normal set up with table and chairs, theater style, podium and/or projection screen needed. etc.). The more information included, the better the event.
**Please note that rooms in the Student Center can only accommodate a limited amount of people. Please refer to the blue Henry Student Center Room Reservation Form a list of rooms and their capacity.
Technical equipment, including a projector and laptop are available for your event. For technical assistance, please contact the Help Desk. Student Development also has a projector and laptop available to loan, however it must be reserved with Jamie Miller (X4111) in plenty of advance to guarantee availability.
No alcohol is allowed for student events. If an organization is requesting the presence of alcohol, a request letter with details must be submitted to Paul Adams, Vice President of Student Affairs for consideration.
Dates of hours for reservations are to follow the normal University calendar. No reservations will be accepted in which the University is closed which includes the week of Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving weekend and Easter weekend. Space will only be available during normal working hours for the summer schedule and spring break.
Rooms in the Henry Student Center cannot be used for Classroom purposes, private parties, birthdays, christenings, showers, etc.
Outside groups (those not affiliated with the University) must submit a written letter or memo requesting the date and a description of the program for which space will be used. The request can be faxed to the Procurement Office at 570-408-7849; Attn: Justin Kraynack for approval.
Table requests are also accepted for the Henry Student Center’s Roth Concourse. In order to secure a table you must send an e-mail to Jamie Miller (email@example.com) at least one week in advance. Tables are limited and are provided for approved uses on a first-come, first-serve basis. No credit card companies are permitted.
