Bubble suspension is a project that allows one to observe the science behind the way bubbles behave when they form on wire frames of various shapes, both 2D and 3D. The soap in the bubble solution reduces the surface tension which reduces the surface area of the liquid. This results in the bubbles being stretched across the frame of the wire shapes but as flat as possible.
Driving question: How can bubbles be used to display the water quality called surface tension?
