What is Total Internal Reflection ?

In my project Total Internal Reflection is when a laser first is shooting into a big water bottle which is called refraction but

once it is out of the bottle shooting down it in reflection. Refraction is when a laser beam is reflecting the light

into the bottle. The laser beam will always refract then reflect because

the laser has to reflect into the water bottle or

else there would be no reflection.
