H-QuAD Project
A Lossless High-Quality Audio Decoder
Welcome to the H-QuAD Project! This project intends to develop a FLAC audio decoder implemented entirely in hardware. This decoder core will be capable or decoding lossless, CD-quality audio at data rates much faster than real-time. The initial design has been targeted on an Altera Cyclone II FPGA. Our design runs at speeds faster than the system clock and memory, and consumes approximately 4000 Logic Elements. |
