Mariah Krancevich is a Masters Level Trained Therapist, originally from Sault Ste. Marie and now working full time in Dr. McGarry Roberts practice under her supervision. She completed her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Western University (2020) and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University (2018). 

Mariah has special interests in working with individuals who have experienced trauma such as military veterans, domestic abuse survivors and childhood abuse survivors. 

 As a multi-sport athlete, Mariah played elite-level hockey for several years, including two years with the York University Lions Women’s Hockey Team, and completed her first half-marathon in 2016. With her strong sports background she also has interests in sport psychology and was fortunate to be a part of the Scotiabank Toronto Marathon’s Psyching Team in May 2017.

 Mariah has spent the last three summers working in Dr. McGarry-Roberts private practice as a Psychometrist administering and scoring psychometric testing and being trained in ethical standards and high-quality patient care in private psychological practice. She also participated in Canadian Psychological Association conference meetings, training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Conducting Teletherapy and participated in ethics webinars and other training opportunities. She is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association and American Psychological Association.  

Mariah is happy to return to her hometown to live and work and be close to her family. She lives with her partner along with their dog and cat. She enjoys spending time outdoors and keeping active by going on long walks and working out.
