The Hartford Partnership Program for Aging Education is proud to introduce the Partners Network

As a social work educator, you are a critical part of the HPPAE program's continued success in graduate schools across the nation. This website gives you direct access to aging-specific resources and your HPPAE colleagues nationwide.

Did you know? HPPAE is growing.

In 2009, with the nationwide success of HPPAE implementation in schools of social work, the Social Work Leadership Institute (SWLI) began a new strategy called “normalization” to encourage all remaining schools of social work to implement the HPPAE model. The normalization strategy depends on a grassroots effort in which current HPPAE schools, acting as ambassadors, outreach to and support schools considering the HPPAE model.

An additional 5 regional supportive networks are planned to be established by 2013, with an expected gain of 78 new sites and 235 new HPPAE students per year.
